Brian has been drawing on nearly everything he could get his hands on for as long as he can remember. He has ruined more than one scholastic book during his grade school days. Often rendering characters right on the pages of his history books and literature proved to be great practice but a little costly when the time to pay fines for damaged property came at the end of the school year. From as early as first grade teachers and peers took notice of his talent to transform the normal into an artistic representation. Although the talent was obviously there the means in which to bring it out was not. Public schools could only bring forth artistic talent so far. By the time Brian reached high school he enrolled in a commercial art vocational block. Not exactly the college prep courses his friends were taking but definitely the right path for him. A 3 hour block of nothing but art, and learning how to benefit in the commercial field of illustration and graphic design. He studied illustration basics and the use of computers for graphic design.

He followed up high school with 4 years of Graphic Design at a local Business college. After college he experimented with various forms of illustration and eventually settled on the photo-realistic painting he is best known for today. A combination of acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, and airbrush are all used throughout his work. Not limiting himself to this one style Brian still is constantly experimenting with new styles, combining everything from traditional art to digital renderings. His digital work can be found in one of the art galleries located on this site.

In only a few short years Brian has established himself with companies such as Marvel Comics, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Paramount Pictures, CHAOS! Comic, Dynamic Forces, Universal Pictures, Heavy Metal Magazine, Frank Frazetta Illustrated, CBLDF, and various others. Brian has been working as a freelance illustrator for the past 5 years and is planning on being in the business for next 110. With many new and exciting projects on the rise you can plan on seeing allot of Brian's work in the near future. This web-site is one of the ways he wishes to bring all of you his latest works as well as a large collection of older pieces. He also tours the country throughout the year attending various conventions of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Comic Books.
